Education
Designing for younger minds and experiences should never be under estimated. Whilst sometimes less articulate, school children are the clients of the future and our responsibility to them is arguably greater.
Efficient solutions are a necessity in education projects. Long circulation routes for the very youngest is not possible. With age comes mobility but as pupils reach secondary school, they travel further between subjects as opposed to teachers coming to them, wider, clearer corridor alignments are at a premium avoiding hold ups and friction opportunities.
Schools are complex centres of co-ordination. They contain learning centres, sports centres, cooking centres, science centres, social centres. Between these areas are routes and journeys much as with a small village. Successful schools are built on layouts that reflect a common sense of value and collaboration.
Our design approach to Educational projects is focused around a deep understanding of the needs of pupils and staff built on 20 years of listening and understanding their need and aspirations.
“I would like to say my BIG THANKS for your bright design. We worked hard during this summer and most of the work has been done already. I am going to send you all pictures asap. Our school looks amazing now!”
